Those who are so confident that xianity wasnt plagiaised from paganism, take the POCM ass kick challenge

News

Well first of all happy slightly late birthday blog (as Johnny has pointed out, my blog has been whipping up good arguments for over a year) It seems odd that after all the arguments ive posted and visitors ive recieved nobody has converted to atheism yet.

Next, I notice that John Loftus is asking bloggers to blog about how theyd like to see him debate william lane craig Apparantly John was winning debates against his maths teacher at school and hasnt lost a debate since.

Finally I came across this amazing site which all visitors to my blog should take a look at.

The lost symbol

Dan Brown will be publishing his next book on the 15th of september Dan Brown himself has said: "Weaving five years of research into the story's twelve-hour timeframe was an exhilarating challenge." 5 years of research is more time than someone spends researching a phd - so dan browns next book will be better researched than a doctortate study! I dont think anyone will be to accuse him of factual inacuracy when his next novel is published. I cant wait.

A.N Wilson past his best

I use to think that A.N Wilson was intelligent (Richard Dawkins even quotes him in the God Delusion as on page 119 it says "historically it is complete nonsense as A.N Wilson in Jesus and Robin Lane Fox in the Unauthorised version (among others) have pointed out")

So A.N Wilson knew that there was no historical evidence for jebus, was friends with all the intelligent people and a top journalist. So what went wrong? It appears that just as antony flew suffered from dementures and converted to christianity A.N Wilson has done something similar. This newspaper article explains how this happens.

A.N Wilson writes:
My departure from the Faith was like a conversion on the road to Damascus. My return was slow, hesitant, doubting. So it will always be; but I know I shall never make the same mistake again. Gilbert Ryle, with donnish absurdity, called God “a category mistake”. Yet the real category mistake made by atheists is not about God, but about human beings. Turn to the Table Talk of Samuel Taylor Coleridge – “Read the first chapter of Genesis without prejudice and you will be convinced at once . . . ‘The Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life’.” And then Coleridge adds: “‘And man became a living soul.’ Materialism will never explain those last words.”

Now I would have thought that being friends with Richard Dawkins etc A.N Wilson would know that evolution answers this question.

At least i know that for every atheist who converts to christianity we have people like Bart ehrman and john loftus coming back the other way.
