A while ago i mentioned how the reason we have no primary source evidence that jebus was ripped of from sun god worship is because the vatican destroyed it all. I was then asked how i knew this. Well i came across such evidence today that has been sitting right under the xians noses:
When this became known to the Jews and Greeks living in Ephesus, they were all seized with fear, and the name of the Lord Jesus was held in high honor. 18Many of those who believed now came and openly confessed their evil deeds. 19A number who had practiced sorcery brought their scrolls together and burned them publicly.
The above comes from Acts19:17 and describes how paul himself got these sun god writings and burned them all. The phrase 'those who practices sourcery' is another way of saying 'those who worshiped sun gods' when read in the historical context acts was written.

You fail on two points.
First you make your point by quoting the Bible. Is the Bible authoritative? If so why not read the Bible to learn more?
Secondly you have failed to prove your assertion that Paul burned the evidence.

Mike this does not prove or even insinuate that Christianity was "ripped" from sun god worship.
Neither does the passage imply anything about the Vatican (and i'm not protecting the Vatican here).

No one said the Bible is not true. We said that you are misinterpretting the passage. It does not speak about what you are claiming it to speak about.
It is amusing how you try to make your point using the Bible. It is like you saying at one point that Jesus never existed and then later saying Jesus made up the gospels.

oh, my mistake. John used this reference found in Acts to give evidence that the Christians burned all books which contradicted Christianity, not that Christianity was plaigarized by sun cults. I however wish to ask how this is not a non-sequitur.
The premises of your argument are thus:
A: Paul burned the magical scrolls of people who worshipped the sun
B: Paul made christianity out of these scrolls.
I am very curious, do you honestly think that the conclusion follows from the premise?

And I pointed out how that same logic can be used to support the idea that aliens have been regularly visiting earth for the past 50(or more) years(the reason theres no evidence is because the government hid it all in Area 51).
Though I'm also curious how people voluntraly burning their own books constitutes = The vatican destroied all evidence that Christianity started as a sun cult(especially since there was no Vatican at the time of Acts).
