Dishonest Xians

The lengths xians will go to in order to ignore my arguments is amazing. Ever since they discovered my blog theyve been making out that im a parody. Yes thats right, everyone from me to Rook Hawkins is a fake according to them. Cant they just accept that my arguments are better and that im genuine?

I have to agree with STAL there. Either way... you're a idiot.

And would you say that the websites I reference my arguments to are also written by idiots? Now half the people on the internet have below average intelligence and half have above. Therefore half the website i link to must be written by people with above average intelligence.

There is no logic in your statement. You could just as easily reference only websites of people with below average intelligence.

If you were dealing with a standard deck of cards your statement would be a legitimate argument if you suggested you had just as much chance of drawing a red suited card versus a black suited card.

In a standard deck of cards there are as many red suited cards as black suited.

For your statement to be true the group of websites to be selected from would have to be equally made up of people of below and above average intelligence. If one was to randomly select one of the websites one would have a 50/50 chance of picking a website written by a person of above average intelligence.

Your statement fails this test in two ways.

First:

You have added the variable of your opinion of what constitutes above average intelligence.

If you purposely set out to pick websites written by people with above average intelligence it would no longer be based on a 50/50 chance, but it would now be based on your opinion of who possessed an above average intelligence. Your opinion could be terribly wrong and you could select only websites of individuals with below average intelligence.

See you take the randomness out of the selection thus destroying your supposition.

Second:

You do not seem to understand what and average is and how it relates to your statement. Your statement that internet websites are equally distributed between people of above and below average intelligence is untenable.

You cannot prove it. It would be more amazing if your statement is true than if it is false.

I do not think you understand averages. Let's look at this a bit.

Let's take a set of numbers:

10,10,10,1,1,1,1,1,1.

To get the average we add the numbers together and divide by the total amount of numbers. I will not show all my work, but suffice to say, the total of the numbers added together is 36 and there are 9 numbers in all.

36 divided by 9 equals 4.

The average of the numbers is four.

Now if we say that there are equal numbers above the average as below the average we would be dead wrong.

There are 3 numbers above the average and 6 numbers below the average.

If I were to select a number randomly from the pool of numbers I would select a below average number 2/3s of the time.

Can you see how your view of average has led you to believe in error that websites are distributed equally between people of above and below average intelligence?

Is there affirmative action on the internet regarding intelligence?

Does the internet have to accept one below average person per each above average person?

Who decides for the internet?

If I was above average in the intelligence department and later due to injury or drug usage became below the average would someone else be moved up as I was moved down?

(Note to Mike: The last four questions are hypothetical)

In light of this will you think about your logic or will you move on to your next illogical statement?

Later when I have more time I will explore the median intelligence of the internet.

Until then,

Good day fundie atheist/parody!

I omitted one thing regarding random selection of cards. It is possible to make 4 random draws from a deck of cards and select all red suited cards.

It is not determined that by selecting websites randomly from an equally distributed group you would get a half and half mix.

So your statement fails on at least three levels.

I say with a flourish,

Good day fundie atheist/parody!

Some of your sources are written by idiots (such as your obsession what that Zegiest crap), but much of your sources are simply you misrepresenting them.

Now half the people on the internet have below average intelligence and half have above. Therefore half the website i link to must be written by people with above average intelligence.

That is some pretty sloppy thinking there, but whatever.

Half are written by people with above average intelligence?

I dunno waht internet your looking at, but from what I've seen I'd say its closer to 90% are run by morons, and 10% by moderately intelligent people.

ALthough maybe if you dont count porn sites its closer to 80/20

But Mike, you're not taking into account your ability to pick out rubbish
