Maybe I'm reading it wrong, but it looks to me like far from 'wiping the floor' with spacefoestus, you simply embarrased yourself.

First, if you think you have won that debate or the debate w/ JB, then you are either deluded or you are unfamiliar with the definition of 'win'.
Second, i can debate a false premise and still win a debate.
Debate solves nothing.
Debate does not equate with truth.
In my opinion, debate serves only two functions. First and formost, it is entertainment.
Secondly, it can be used to look at things from a different perspective / POV... teaching someone critical thinking.
Unfortunately, you are hung up on the entertainment value, and still think that argument ad populum determines truth value.

Hey I just had a thought:
Maybe Mike Trite is using the word 'win' here in a new slang sense to mean "Got totally crushed in." Kind of like a few years ago when people would say something was 'bad' to mean it was good.
