Stupid excuses

For some strange reason xians seem to think that we cant question their skydaddy as in order to do so we'd have to be a sky daddy. But we can turn that around, if I can think of something I could do better how do we know im not correct. Who says that a sky daddy doesnt have to adhehere to my standards?

uhhh....no?

"Who says that a sky daddy doesnt have to adhehere to my standards?"

Well, presumably the "sky daddy" is transcendant and so YOU are the suburdonate- therefore HE says He doesn't have to adhere to His standards. In fact, technically, because you are the subordinate it should be you adhering to God's standards.

Again Mike, you miss several points.

First, let's address your idea that Christians think that we CAN'T question God.
Adam and Eve questioned God, and look where it got all of us.
Moses questioned God... it didn't do him much good... he still ended up as God's representative for His people, Israel.
How about Abraham... he questioned God.
Gen 18:23 And Abraham drew near, and said, Wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?
Gen 18:24 Peradventure there be fifty righteous within the city: wilt thou also destroy and not spare the place for the fifty righteous that are therein?
Gen 18:25 That be far from thee to do after this manner, to slay the righteous with the wicked: and that the righteous should be as the wicked, that be far from thee: Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right?
Gen 18:26 And the LORD said, If I find in Sodom fifty righteous within the city, then I will spare all the place for their sakes.

You can read the rest of the account, to find out what happened.

Next.... as was pointed out to you before-- in order for you to know if your plan is better than God's, you would have to know God's plan... His total plan.
You would also have to know ALL of the factors that your own plan would cause.

Lastly, but MOST importantly, with God being the Sovereign Creator, that means that you and i are His property, to do with as He wills.
Therefore, if He says:
Thou shall not use the Name of the Lord in vain
You most likely should not be calling Him "sky daddy" or "jebus".

On a similar note, has it bothered you that some of the folks at Tweb have called you names?

God Bless,
johnny
