The argument from Google Maps

1)Xians say that their sky daddy exists everywhere
2)Everywhere includes planet earth
3Anything that exists on planet earth can be found on Google maps

Therefore if their sky daddy existed xians would be able to show me where they exist on Google maps

If xians cant show me a GPS coordinate for their skydaddy or give me a link to their skydaddy on google maps then atheism is true

So tell me silly xians, how do I find Jebus on Google maps?

I can't believe I debated a parody....

That's ok spacefoetus. Think about those that are not parodies that Mike represented.

As for you, Mike...

Mike said, "3Anything that exists on planet earth can be found on Google maps

If your #3 is sound then i think you should prove it by showing me where my mom and dad's house key is, that i lost several years ago. I've never left the planet, so this should be easy for you, Mike.

ps. It's safe to give that info over the net since the locks have been changed this year.

God's invisible.

Mikey, tell me, you atheists say there is "air" on Earth.

Google Maps can find anything on Earth.

But I can't see air on Google Maps, so air doesn't exist.

The thing is, it can be used to support true claims as well.

Google Maps can find anything on Earth.

MikeWright is on Earth.

If MikeWright is on Earth and he has a brain, then his brain is on Earth.

Google Maps can't find MikeWright's brain.

Therefore, MikeWright's brain does not exist.

Oh, great argument! Next you'll be telling us that the musical note C doesn't exist because nobody can see what color it is. This is sort of like using a magnifying glass to look at the stars. Wrong instrument, baby.

Also this is like the people that thought germs did not exist because they could not see them.

your missing the point, im to small to be seen on google maps, as are your house keys, however your sky daddy is big and so google maps would pick them up.

And you are missing points all over the place Mike.

As for your "complaint by Google Maps", it doesn't account for the doctrine of a transcendent-immanenet God.

This is not something i cooked up. Nor is it something that people at Tweb all joined around inventing, just to frustrate you.

Your arguments amount to nothing. A couple of times you came close to bringing up valid difficulties, but even those were little more than a hiccup.

In your, "what about google maps" garbage, the first verse of the first chapter of the first book of the Bible defeats this.... here, take a look:

Gen 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

This passage alone, presupposes God before anything that He created.... that would include everything that google maps would be able to "see".
It also presupposes God being both "before" time and the Creator of time. (in the beginning God..).

If God created the universe and everything in the universe, he is not defined by or contained in the universe, Mike.

But if God had only created, He would be a deistic god, and there would be almost no distinction between that and "an atheist's god".

But His Word describes something else about Him (don't just take what i've presented here, but please read these in context):

Col 1:17 And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist.

Heb 1:1 God who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Heb 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
Heb 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

God's immanence is that He pervades and sustains the universe.

So Mike, every complaint that you've brought up so far, we Christians have been easily been able to handle.... either come up with a complaint of substance Mike, or repent to God and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.

God Bless you,
johnny
