Eat honey?

Proverbs 24:13 says "eat honey, my son, for it is good; honey from the comb is sweet to your taste"

Now, firstly do all xians follow their bible and eat honey? Are people who are ilergic to honey unable to become christians or do they have to follow the bible and eat honye even if they die? Secondly honey is bad for your teeth and so the bibles advice goes against dental science.

I don't think that quote has anything to do with the god/no God argument whatsoever. Its just saying that honey's really nice and good for you. It'll only rot your teeth if you have too much of it. Like everything good in life it has to be had in moderation.

Its about the only bit of the bible I'd agree with.

Mike, one final word of advice. You seem to fight on these guys' territory, so you're on to a loser straight away (they're all losers after all). I suggest you present them with some evidence of evolution and challenge their beliefs with reality, rather than just pointing out how ridiculous the bible is. Its obvious how ridiculous the bible is once you look at the reality of a situation.

Just a thought. I'm on your side mate, but I don't think you'll change anybody's mind with point scoring and name-calling.

Hoping for more posts soon, I'll check in soon.

Take care :-)

Helly fifi, I thought I'd have some fun with you on this.

Oh, we are?

You do know that I am a scientist in training and I do not see anything in evolution that contradicts the Bible, right? In fact... I'm a theistic evolutionist. Oh no... is that the sound of your entire plan crashing to the ground?

Name some examples and I'll bury you on it. Deal?

Might want to take your own advice. ;)

Lil pixie,

You're very young and not at all versed in the ways of the world, so go back to your playpen and don't try to play with the big boys.

If you pose any kind of rational explanation for anything, I'd be happy to consider it, but you're just into bullying and name-calling. Not very Christian that, is it?

How cute, she's trying to intimitate me. lol. In all seriousness, how many countries have you been too? I've been to several. How many states have you been to? I've been to over a dozen. I'm also in the military and a college student. So if you really want to pretend that I don't have 'life experience' go ahead, but my experiences seem to show otherwise. Now are you going to refute a word I said?

And the pot calls the kettle black! I've explained to mikey and you again and again why you are wrong and yet... you two are still too stupid to refute me, so you try to pretend that I don't have life experience. How in the world do you know that? I maybe 23 years old, but I've also been to many places and experienced quite a bit in my short time. As for your whining about calling you an idiot being 'unChristian like'... I guess Jesus turning over money tables and calling people snakes and vipers isn't the Jesus you read? I guess the fuzzy Jesus who never challanged sin and stupidity isn't the one you read about. How about you grow a backbone and come to T web to debate us or even better... show me something in evolution that should refute Christianity (remember, I'm a scientist in training, so you can't play the 'you Christians are ignorant of science' canard)? I'll be waiting...
