A.N Wilson past his best

I use to think that A.N Wilson was intelligent (Richard Dawkins even quotes him in the God Delusion as on page 119 it says "historically it is complete nonsense as A.N Wilson in Jesus and Robin Lane Fox in the Unauthorised version (among others) have pointed out")

So A.N Wilson knew that there was no historical evidence for jebus, was friends with all the intelligent people and a top journalist. So what went wrong? It appears that just as antony flew suffered from dementures and converted to christianity A.N Wilson has done something similar. This newspaper article explains how this happens.

A.N Wilson writes:

Now I would have thought that being friends with Richard Dawkins etc A.N Wilson would know that evolution answers this question.

At least i know that for every atheist who converts to christianity we have people like Bart ehrman and john loftus coming back the other way.

Is jebus a zombie

I was singing along with this video and I had a thought...when jebus rose from the dead did he become a zombie? and arent zombies evil?

A solid case against the resurection

If you can argue you case against the resurection of jebus using facts accepted by both xian and intelligent freethinking historians then you have a strong case. Well william lane craig has written a book called the son rises* Well he clearly uses a play on words in the title with 'the sun rises' and 'the son rises' which shows that even xians notice the similarity between the words son and sun. Thus the resurection was copied from sun god worship.

If you havent read it then dont worry, neither have I as i think reading the title is enough.

When did jebus die?

Why is it that the date of easter changes each year? Xians often say that easter is to celebrate a certain number of years since jebus died however if the date of easter keeps changing then it cant possibly be on the same day jebus died.

It also raises another stunning question...why did the bible writers record jebus genealogies in great detail however not record the date of easter incase people wanted to celebrate it afterwards. Afterall, they had festivals in jebuss day so the thought must have occured to them. Is it because easter never happened?

What if...

Imagine you met someone who believed in a person who was someones only son, there father was a carpenter, they had holes in there hands where nails had been and they could do magical things. Would you think this person was stupid? Well suppose I told you the person believed in jebus. Youd think they were intelligent, right? What if i told you that the person actually believe pinnocio was a real person. Then youd say they were stupid, right? EVen tho the only difference is in the name.

So the only thing that according to xians determins if something is stupid or not is the name of the person who they worship. How do you get from 'but the thing i believe in isnt called pinocio' to 'therefore my sky daddy exists'?
